Today is a good day to patronize Shell.
Jan. 29th, 2005 01:18 pmGot up today at around 10:30. Due in Roxboro to see friends and hang out at 2. Went off to buy rabbit supplies. Noticed I needed gas. Stopped in at the BP prior before going to Target and Walmart and pet supply stores.
The BP does not accept personal checks. The BP guy took away my driver's license (after saying "Can I see that?" Bastard!) and held it until I came back with the money. Without my driver's license, I could not GET the money, as no one would cash my check.
Long saga followed, involving the discovery that SECU (my bank) is only open on weekdays and culminating in borrowing money from my grandmother.
Bad day. Hope it gets better.
