So! It occurs to me that there are people (albeit a very few) who do read my LJ page and don't read beloitst's LJ page. For those wondering, beloitst is my friend Wendy. She was also my bridesmaid at my wedding, which meant that she put up with wearing a badly sewn teal dress and spent the whole time trying to safety-pin my failing bustle back to my butt. (If you can't tell, we had bad bad bad wedding-related seamstress luck.)

Right now, she's in Belgium and she's broke. For various legal reasons, she has had to sign a document stating that she will not seek employment while overseas on a student visa, but she now needs some in order to get a plane ticket to go home for NERE. NERE is a major Camarilla convention, and, as Wendy is a Camarilla Storyteller, there's a lot of pressure on her to go home. Plus, eatin' money is nice.

Note that there is no pressure upon you to donate. (After all, most of my friends are as broke as I am, and Wendy, honey, I love you, but I ain't giving you any money. I'm $1,500 in debt to my relatives right now.) However, if you should have something to spare, she would probably be very happy.

PG-13 Magic. Not a new expansion, but a tournament style.

No naked ladies, nobody dying, no satanic symbols, and no otherwise overly grisly artwork. Magic, in short, that you could play in public without upsetting most mundanes.

For some reason, I'm far too amused by this idea.
