Happy Thanksgiving.
Nov. 23rd, 2006 04:24 pmToday, I called home, bathed a rabbit, sent a long-overdue letter to a former coworker regarding an incomplete project, and read
ursulav's NaNoWriMo progress. Later, there will be turkey and dishes to wash.
I've never been particularly wild about this holiday, but I have it off this year. I don't have Christmas off, which is the holiday I normally go nuts over, so having Thanksgiving off makes me feel about as traditional as I'm going to get.
To my friends, family, and loved ones, near and far... have a good day today, and be glad and merry in whatever fashion you choose to be. I'm thinking of you, and I'm glad for the wonderful people that share this life with me.
