Silk Road and goodies.
Dec. 14th, 2006 06:46 pmI tried the BPAL scent Silk Road once before today. My commentary on it (just a memory note, not a long review for posting) was:
"Smelled like a second skin scent. Strange at first, but later became spicy and floral and subtle and lovely."
There is a third sentence that needs adding. This sentence is:
"It may also make you smell like saffron rice all day long."
On account of being in the same room as my wrists, I got hungry enough today around 3:00 to eat raw octopus. (I'd also just teased someone else into eating a slice , so backing out would have been terrible form.) It was exceedingly chewy, and I had a sudden flash of my last trip to the Boston aquarium right as I sank my teeth in, which made me feel guilty. Oh well. Next time, I'm sticking with things wrapped in rice.
Fortunately, my marvelous Aunt Debby (via my parents) sent me a Christmas food package. This included fudge, boursin, chocolate chip-studded brittle (no peanuts, just candy brittle), and almost a full half of a St. Timothy's coffee cake. In the interests of not having a sugar headache, I am going to try to eat something that is officially food before I resume eating brittle.
Yay!
