An exceedingly musical night.
Jan. 25th, 2007 10:48 pmI have more hand stamina than I realized (or than I deserve) for someone who has been off the piano for approximately eight years. I can only conclude that the typity muscles are the exact same ones.
The John Mellencamp book arrived tonight. All done with splurge.
Tonight, I played:
John Mellencamp - "Jack and Diane", "Key West Intermezzo", and "Wild Night"
Phil Collins - "I Wish It Would Rain"
U2 - "One", "Stuck in a Moment"
Third Eye Blind - "Good For You", "The Background", and "I Want You"
Sarah McLachlan - "Drawn to the Rhythm"
Counting Crows - "Omaha", "Perfect Blue Buildings", and "Anna Begins"
If I can't sleep at this point, it will at least be due to muscle cramps from sitting still too long instead of adrenaline.
