BPAL Reviews 16
Jun. 18th, 2007 07:45 pmIt is sometimes astonishing to me just how wordy I can be when I'm doing anything other than fiction. At this point, I have written over 48,000 words on BPAL. (This is sort of like my sudden discovery that I had written over 36,000 words of text adventure in a month or so a few years back. I remember the flash in my skull that said, "You know, I could have written this story a heck of a lot faster if I'd just written the story." But it's not as fun that way!)
Anyway.... reviews! Onwward!
And if there's a theme for this review set, it's undeniably "Look! Things I can't pronounce reliably!" Because... man. Someone asked me what I was wearing when I was wearing Vasakasajja this past week, and I had to answer, "I can't tell you! I don't know how to say it!" (Lots of scents I can pronounce, admittedly, but still a ridiculous number that I can't.)
The sub-theme would be, "I haven't had a lot of luck with food scents, but...." A few very nice ones here.
( Here there be reviews of Bloody Mary, Voodoo Lily, Vasakasajja, Habu, Xiuhtecuhtli, Baobhan Sith, Opium Poppy, Sheol, Nephilim, Bewitched, Love Lies Bleeding, Shub-Niggurath, Mata Hari, and Dana O’Shee. )
