A brief trip to the ER.
Oct. 5th, 2007 04:50 pmAt work today, I whacked my elbow (funnybone, to be specific, that miserable little nerve), sat down because I felt dizzy, and fainted away, whacking my head into either the wall or the tile floor (I don't know which -- no one was in visual range at the time, and I was completely out when it happened). This resulted in paramedics showing up. Since I couldn't stand up without going dizzy, they promptly ferried me off to the hospital.
After three and a half hours of testing and waiting, I was no longer dizzy. They had me do paperwork and sent me home. I am glad that I have insurance.
