Quiet lately.
Apr. 13th, 2006 07:08 pmIt isn't that things aren't going on lately in my life. They are.
But many of the things that are going on lately are not things that I want to talk about. This is sometimes because they would be too boring, sometimes because they are too private, and sometimes because I can't figure out how to vocalize what I'm feeling even to myself.
It is also because I don't want to use this journal to do anything that will wind up hurting or putting pressure on anyone else. I wasn't sure why I was getting it in the first place, but now I know: it's to keep a record of my life, but it's also to keep in touch with my friends. Anything I say here is communication, by its very nature, and now is a time when I should be/have to be/can't help but be sparse in my communication.
So, I will probably be quiet for a while, or say things that are of minimal importance. The internal landscape just isn't up for public viewing right now, even among friends.
