Today's placement agency interview
May. 10th, 2006 03:40 pmToday, I interviewed with a placement agency. They normally service law firms, which made me a bit antsy about my qualifications, but I went in anyway. It's not a huge agency, but it's reputable. I interviewed with two people and met another on my way out.
Highlights of the interviews included:
"I already have a few possible places in mind for you."
"With computer skills like this, you're GREAT, very useful."
"Has anyone SCORED this high on the typing test before? Should we frame this?"
"This salary is definitely doable. In fact, I'm sure we can do better than this."
That went SO much better than I expected!
They may have me interviewing by Thursday or Friday -- Monday at the latest. Needless to say, I am walking on air.
The typing test in question came in at 115 wpm (with 3 errors over 5 minutes; effectively 112 wpm), which made me feel very warm and fuzzy indeed.
