Illness and conlanging.
Mar. 8th, 2007 07:45 pmI have a sore throat today. I had hoped it was just an aftereffect of the solvent from yesterday followed by too much time spent talking on the phone, but... no, I think I'm just sick. This is frustrating.
Despite this, my brain is mostly working, which is a certain comfort. I spent a large chunk of my free time fiddling with my latest creative miscellany, which is a conlang. (See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conlang for an explanation of "what is a conlang?") I may post some extended details, though my concentration may not hold out. Thus far, I can say things like:
Zharoo doun adali.
(I am about to sing beautifully to you.)
Ibja doun purza majo gopta odaroo doun jaun.
(Two horses are about to simultaneously kick the brown dog.)
Rou zhud ujodil nili?
(You are about to headbutt me how many times?)
Azever djalur.
(I have always trusted you.)
All useful things to say. Right? Right.
Right.
